The Command and Control 4x4 vehicles designed for our Oman agent, XAD Communications, were based around the standard Nissan Patrol currently available in Muscat. The vehicles were upgraded to offer a state of the art power system, offering DC power for all on-board equipment for the internal information technology system and camera hardware. The specially designed mast was commissioned to be able to withstand the required head-load of approximately 120kg. This unit was installed and recessed into the roof of the unit to provide a standard finish to the vehicle.
The design and capability of the vehicle was designed around the use in an off-road capacity and also the ability to use the vehicle on the move. The vehicles were successfully completed and delivered to Muscat in November 2011.
