The Hi-Tech Racing team is a leading contender in the British Formula Three Championship. During 2006 there was a requirement for a race car transporter with a forward driving briefing area in order to support the team’s activities for the year. There was also a requirement for a full awning in order to provide a covered working area for the mechanics during racing events.
For this project, due to the specific requirements for transporting several single-seater race cars, a step frame chassis was utilised in order to provide a twin car deck which. Access to the car decks is facilitated via the 2,500kg tail lift.
Generator power and air compressors were fully integrated into the trailer to provide the mechanics with facilities to support the racing team’s activities during the race weekends.
The Hi-Tech race car transporter continues to be the envy of the paddock during race weekends.
