Essex Police approached Bence during 2005 to design a Police welfare and canteen facility which could also double up as a briefing area for major events.  The solution that Bence provided was based on a 13.6m articulated trailer with double slide-out sections providing an internal area of 60mē.  The unit is fully air conditioned internally and has a self generating power unit which enables  itto operate on a stand alone basis.

The unit is in regular use by Essex Police and has proved to be an overwhelming success providing canteen, rest and briefing facilities on location during major events and incidents.
